Oh hello October, and why is she not wearing a coat and knee high boots in this post? Ahem, well, I have been getting my hands dirty with some really exciting collaborations we have coming up here for the last chunk of the year (content I really can't wait to share with you!), and so I have this little wedding guest story lined up from beautiful Björkö in Sweden. The Scandinavian harbours have an unpretentious nature in its surrounding, where you dress as you dress and you do as you do. Now, in the settings of a beautiful wedding I will late forget, dress expectations did exceed the usual harbour attire (my favourite: slacks and stripes). I had brought one of my favourite green dresses to wear, but it had seen many summer nights and danced at many parties, so when I arrived in Gothenburg, I panicked and ran to Mango (alongside the no-brainer that comes with Zara's existence, this place is quickly becoming a high-street favourite).
Sale was on, so I ended up paying 30 cents (ie. can't quite remember, but we're talking peanuts!) for this high-slit, copper toned beauty. It now reminds me of one of the best experiences I had this year, and isn't that just the best? I loved every second and the dress felt right - thank goodness none of the other wedding guests had spotted it in the sale - these things happen!
