I was looking through the archives of some of my friends' blogs and found this photo on Stine Mo's blog, from late summer last year when Stine, Yin, Katarina and I were hanging out and enjoying ourselves. TONI&GUY Event

This Tuesday Anne-Sofie and I went to a Toni & Guy event at Hotel Skt. Petri, hearing about their new campaign: Hair Meet Wardrobe. We were introduced to their new products and were aloud to test them out ourselves (I've been using their shampoo + conditioner since then, and it's safe to say that I'm crossing boundaries from loving it to addiction). They showcased these 5 looks, which you see above, just to give you an idea of how to achieve it, I'll try to explain what they did.

First look:

Using Toni&Guy Seasalt spray, they created beautiful soft waves by twirling the hair and blowdrying it when it is somewhat dry.

Second look (I know you can't really see how it looks, scusi): A bow-like hair-do created with long hair from a pony-tail.

Third: A vintage looking mens hair-do created with Toni&Guy putty, that can both be used to create sleek looking hair-dos like the above or more matte hair-dos.

Sleek and straight: Hair straightened and "sealed" with some serum. The experts underlined the importance of a good hair-cut and healthy hair.

Fifth: Glamourous hair created by teasing and a little tonging. Sealed with a good hairspray.

My favorite is the first and the fifth, and I'll definitely be trying these techniques out myself. :)

Creative Accessorizing

Thanks for all the lovely comments on my pink hair-tips! I hope you'll share a link if you have done it yourself. Love this bracelet my friend Cathrine Saks had made herself. She's working on getting her own jewelry line up and running - I'll of course keep you posted! I'm going to try out this DIY-bracelet with neon thread as she uses here. I love how it adds a hint of colour to her outfit and it looks so great!

Candyflossed hair

Yes! I did what I've been long wanting to do - I tip dyed my hair pink. It's so much fun and I still can't quite get used to it - however, when I finally get use to it, it might be out as it's just a temporary thing. Actually, I'm sort of flirting with the idea of dying all my hair pastel pink. However, this would probably mean that I'd have to bleach all my hair, which is not an option at the moment. I heard that lots of you are going to do (or have done) the same project - I'd love to see it, so do throw a link with your look in the comment field! :)

This photo is from yesterday, when I just got it dyed with the help of Stine and Oliver (it was hilarious!). They wouldn't let me do anything, so they're the ones to thank for this ;)

Today is the 2nd day, and the colour has already disappeared a lot! It's not as crazy as the above photo.

After my hair got caught in the candyfloss machine yesterday, I went to a Toni&Guy event together with beautiful Anne-Sofie, where we were introduced to their new product range. We got a lot of great tips from the experts themselves - more to come soon - promise! :)

Wow, who came with all this snow? I was beginning to think it'd never arrive. It's incredibly cold all over Europe right now, so I hope everyone is keeping warm! Last night it was -23 celsius here where I live. Brrr.... Normally I'm not really into duvet coats, but I couldn't help myself with this one from PennyBlack. It doesn't make me feel puffy - just warm. And that's one thing I want to be.

Today I met up with Christian (who is one of the most amazing street style photographers, in my opinion) before he was heading back to Berlin. Before that I'd been in a march in Copenhagen, walking for tolerance between different faiths, which was such an amazing experience.

Just when you thought you were through with your freckles, SG updated the look with amazing small metal pearls as a face-accessory - it's like SUPER FRECKLES (something to try out, eh?). Sorry for not posting more photos, but I had adjusted my camera incorrectly and most of my photos turned out overexposed.

Ecco - Walk in Style Awards 2012

Also met sweet Natalie, who looked absolutely amazing in a colourful clothes.

The fashion week hath begun! Tonight I attended the prestigious Ecco Walk in Style Awards - it was truly amazing. Great show, great food and lovely company. To say a bit about it I just copy pasted what Ecco themselves said about tonight:

"The award ceremony took place after a fashion show highlighting ECCO’s autumn and winter collection 2012 on a catwalk paying tribute to ECCO’s Scandinavian design tradition. The audience at the City Hall witnessed three new shoe trends on the catwalk each represented by a number of specially made showpieces: “Aesthetic Being”, “Active Vibrations” and “Nordic Breathing”. Three talented and visionary Danish designers, each with their own personal take on the assigned theme, contributed to the show styling. They were fashion designer David Andersen, costume designer Lars Emil and leather designer Hanne Harnov Riisbro, Zolo Design."

The pictures above were taken from the mood "Active Vibrations" - Ecco is so good at making beautiful shoes and show-pieces. Crown-princess Mary attended the show, and she looked absolutely stunning in a white suit.

Workedy, workedy, work

Gosh, what a week! This has indeed been one of those weeks where concealer and coffee have become my two new best friends. I've been so, so busy with work. As you know, I'm interning for Max Mara and as fashion week is coming up I've been doing lots of preparation work there. This hasn't been all though, at evenings I'm working in a restaurant in town. I'm looking so much forward to fashion week next week, but I predict that sleep will become a rare commodity. This doesn't leave a lot of space for blogging next week, but I'll be sure to take lots of potos (photos) so that when I go into fashion-week-recovery-mode there'll be lots and lots of material and good stuff to share :) I'll do my very best to keep it going though !

I'm sorry for being a bit out of reach. I've been so busy with my work these days, that I really haven't had the time or even worse the energy to do anything else. Fashion week is coming up in next week and the preparation work must be done. However, when I got home yesterday, I had to jump up and down (in my mind - physical activity is out of the question atp) when I saw this photo shoot by Lena Modigh. First I was loving this girl's hair, but then I discovered her braces - that just put me in the good mood box, where I'm still sitting. After work I met up with one of my darling friends, Rosa, who pointed out that I'm the only one feeling like an alien (just at times, you know). All of a sudden I feel good. Still tired, but good :)

There is nothing better than going in to a vintage store and coming out with gold. The feeling, that you just got something for a fraction of what it is worth. Some of my favorite pieces are vintage and I just discovered that almost half of my wardrobe is vintage. Oh well, I for sure am a fan. Btw. I wouldn't recommend jumping around in high heels....

London in April!

I am incredibly excited to tell, that I have today booked a trip to London in April, where I'll be going on fashionable adventures with lovely Miss Annie. We met during Copenhagen Fashion Week in August last year, and ever since we have been talking about visiting one another. Then the amazing idea came: why not meet up in an exciting city away from our own home! The choice landed on London and from now on, I'll be dreaming of red bunk busses, Union Jack and English tea. :)

I'm looking so much forward to this trip and quite frankly, I'm looking forward to get a little out.

Embracing a new look

I feel I should share my newest accessory with you. Yesterday I got braces. Everywhere. Before I had only had it in the sides of my teeth, but now there's no way around it. Believe me, I do know that I'm a bit too old to be wearing braces, but there's really nothing I can do about it - it was now or never.

In the middle of this year I'll be getting a jaw surgery, as the smart men in white say it's not placed correctly. After I've healed from the surgery, these bright silver things will be off and I'll be jumping around everywhere flashing my big smile.

But for now, first things first: who can help me make braces fashionable? Karl? Marc?? Stella??? ANYONE?

Got myself these Billi Bi boots not so long ago, as my last pair of winter boots had been worn out (been used for about 5 years, so their time to retire had rightfully come). I've accepted the fact, that compromises must be made to keep warm throughout winter. You can't constantly change your look, like you can in summer. Good quality classics is probably the best solution to get through winter. Even though winter boots may not be a fashion statement they will keep my feet from turning ice blue and freezing off.

Saw the Danish queen, crown prince and princess, Frederik and Mary today by coincidence. I was going past the parliament, and there they were - getting out of their cars. Frederik and Mary seem so lovely and really down to earth (Mary looked great btw, wearing burgundy).

I'm back at home!! I went with my family down to my grandmother's in Germany. It was really lovely being gathered, and as we live quite a way from each other, every time we're all at one spot we enjoy every second. One little thing that's happened while I was gone: FRAMBOISE FASHION IS TODAY TWO YEARS (and 2 days) OLD!!!!!! Woooohoooo! Så er jeg hjemme igen! Jeg har været nede at besøge min kære mormor i Tyskland. Det har været utroligt skønt, og opholdet bød naturligvis på de skønne juleklassikere rødkål, risengrød og julemusik (minus Hansi). Siden sidst er der sket en lille ting: FRAMBOISE FASHION ER TO ÅR (og to dage) I DAG!!! Der er intet så sjovt som at arbejde på bloggen, og spekulere om hvordan det næste indlæg mon skal blive, og hvordan jeg gør det bedre, så tusind tak fordi I vil tage del i det!

A story about love

A little post dedicated to my wonderful mum and dad, who today have been married for 20 beautiful years. One summer my dad came to visit Denmark to play music, just for a short period of time before returning back to Australia. He stayed at a place near my mum, and 14 days after he met her, he proposed.

Every time my parents tell me this story their eyes start sparkling and I never get tired of hearing it. Just reminds you, that when the right one comes along - you'll know it. :)

I've just come back home after seeing The Nutcracker at the Danish Royal Theater. It was absolutely amazing!! I've always loved going to the ballet, and if you are to know a secret, I did ballet from the age of 4 to 14, where I unfortunately got a knee injury and had to stop dancing. I must admit, that when you visit such a beautiful theater and see those amazing dancers do pliés, high kicks and lifts, you become a bit nostalgic and miss the dance. Anyways, you can be absolutely sure to see me dancing through the streets of Copenhagen getting my last Christmas shopping done! No... I am still not done...

Happy fourth Sunday of Christmas everyone!

Today I wanted to get back to all of you, who have been asking regarding which camera and lens I use for the photography on the blog. I use the Canon Eos 7d and I just recently bought this 50mm f1.4 USM lens, which makes these lovely blurry backgrounds and makes beautiful bokeh. Both things have been an investment from my side, and I must say - they weren't complete painless choices either. But they follow my side almost all the time and to a photo geek like me, all the photos they produce make me jump up and down, and I can only recommend them!

As for editing, I edit all my photos in Photoshop. For those interested it's currently on special on amazon.com!

Here are a couple of more shots from yesterday's trip to Tivoli. It was really so lovely! Thank you for all your kind responses on the last post :) The red hat was a birthday present and was made by Cecilie's mum. I truly love homemade things and always have some sort of a project on. This Christmas is no exception. ;) Are you having all your Christmas shopping done?

ALSO - A lot of you would like to know which lens and editing program I use. I'm going to do a post on it, but just to put it out there: I use a Canon Eos 7d with a 50mm f1.4 USM lens (I use another one too, but I think this is the one you've been requesting to know). Also I do all my editing in Photoshop.

Went to Tivoli today with lovely Cecilie. It's such a wonderful place and the fact that it's Christmas only makes it more magical! With the Christmas market there and all the beautiful Christmas lights and decorations, one could not avoid feeling like a little child again. If you're coming to Copenhagen this Christmas, all I can say is: do not miss this!

Hiya lovelies!

Here's my exciting purchase from Italy: a tailored Max & Co. blazer coat. I rarely ever buy new coats for the season unless it's vintage (to give an example, my cape coat is at least 5 years old and I use it every winter). My favorite thing about this coat is the shoulder pads. They are perfect (just the right subtle amount of Balmain)!

I'm always excited when I do an outfit post. I love the entire process ! From choosing my outfit, to taking the photos and finally edit them (which for you who have asked is entirely done in Photoshop). And also, I always find it exciting to hear what you think about it - you're my experts!

Today I'll be off to work and if I can reach it, get some christmas shopping done.

Sorry for keeping the blog so quiet this week. Twenty minutes after I did my last post, I was called up by my work saying that my shifts hadn't been cancelled - and of to work I went. Ciao, Reggio Emilia!

So, I'm home from my brief trip to Italy, more specifically the beautiful city Reggio Emilia. Not only is it a beautiful city with lots of great stores but also the home of the parmesan cheese (Parmaggiano Reggiano). I was fine most of the time despite the fact that I was still feeling ill. I'm now home and just woke up with no voice, so it looks as if I'll have to take it a bit slow these days. Anyways, I didn't get to take a lot of photos because of the brief journey, but here you can see some of my photos from the lovely city :-) (you'll have to click read more to see the photos)

After I did the post yesterday, I little by little started feeling really ill and before I new it was lying on the couch with a fever. Yes, I had caught the flu and this is all before I'm leaving for Italy tomorrow!! Today my fever got worse, but I'm feeling better here in the evening, so unless my two legs can't carry me forward tomorrow, there's no stopping me! I had a cold about a week ago, but I can't recall the last time I was this sick.

Hi everyone!

Today is the joyous day of aperture, focal lengths and so on! I just bought a new lens with some money I got for my birthday, and it's amazing!! (Let's just look away from the fact, that the second photo is a bit blurry everywhere - still getting a hang of it). I'm really happy with the result and when I'm leaving for a quick trip to Bologna in a couple of days, I'll be sure to snap away with this feller.

Hi lovelies!

I'm more or less over being ill and all, so finally some energy to stand up, go outside and actually show you what I'm wearing. A very monochrome outfit, but if you could feel how lovely it is to wear knit with knit, you go colorblind and just go for the cosy feeling. I'm working two jobs atm, which means that within some time, there might actually appear new buys on the blog (for a change)! That is after I've saved money up for courses, fabrics, possibly a laptop - oh there are so many things to save up for... Looks like my money will stay in the piggy bank.

Vila blazer and nelly necklace

Hiya lovelies!

Being a little under the weather and all, a camera isn't really the first thing I'd like pointed at me right now. Therefore I give you: a photo I took earlier this summer, which never made it to the blog. I had just gotten the oh so popular nelly choker necklace, and truthfully, I soon discovered it wasn't really my thing. It's the mixture of feeling a bit claustrophobic and actually wearing something locked around your neck, like a dog collar. Not my thing. But no doubt that it looked great at Stella McCartney and Michael Kors' collections for this summer. If you'd like to see an outfit, where I actually used it out in the world, look here. :-)

A Trench coat and a throat ache

Wow, that description of what I'm wearing took my breath away - I guess that's what they call layering? Sat 8 hours in the train yesterday - had to go to Göteborg and back for a meeting. I had never been there before, but those three hours I did see of it were great!

And then I have some good news and some bad news.. The bad news is already suggested by the title - I'm ill, but oh well. I haven't been sick for one and a half years now, so I guess I had it coming. The good news is, that when you're all of a sudden ill and you start to feel lonely and uncharming, all of a sudden there's lots of time to bake cake! A good movie and I'll be happy as Larry. :-)

Before fading out, I'd just like to make a quick comment on the nailpolish I'm wearing (the scratches are self-inflicted). It's from a brand called SPARITUAL and it's vegan!! Who knew nailpolishes could be made of vegan ingredients only? Anyway, I'm super excited about it, and I'll probably do a post about it soon.

A photo from a failed photoshoot I would have posted today. The lighting was simply too poor outside to get anything good from it, but I basically wanted to share the idea I had with you. I've been wanting a red beanie for ages, and I got it yesterday from my dear friend Cecilie, whose mother had made it especially for me! Technique, design and a whole lot more

Is exactly what newly graduated Michelle Wadskjær from the Margrethe School can offer. Her sense for modern design paired with good skills is what truly completes her garments, latest in her graduation collection Skeleton Pleats, where she combines a special pleat technique to redefine the body and bring focus to what lies beneath the clothes, but in a very dressed, non-vulgar though incredibly sensual way. These are points that in my opinion makes her very worthy of the Benedikte (the Danish Queen's sister) award and hopefully we will see a lot more to this amazing talent.

With the special pleat technique, Michelle achieved to bring focus to the human bone structure, for instance this dress has the detail on the back giving focus to the spine.

HAIR TUTORIAL / Back Slicked Bun

One of you lovely readers requested I do a tutorial on the slick bun I wore here. I rarely ever wear my hair up, so I was really pleased, that you liked it! This is a frizz free hair-do, so I use loads of styling-gel mixed with some serum. You shouldn't splurge on the styling-gel, 'cause you'll use lots of it - better smell a little like a man than robbing yourself. If you have any questions, you can always ask! :)

En af jer skønne læsere, anmodede om en guide til, hvordan jeg fik frisuren, jeg havde her. Mit hår er næsten aldrig oppe, så jeg er rigtig glad for, at I kunne lide det! Opskriften er såmænd blot et ton styling-gel og nogle dråber serum. Mere eller mindre. Lad være med at bruge en masse penge på styling-gel'en - hvilken som helst udfører arbejdet. Har I nogle spørgsmål, er I som altid velkomne til at spørge! :)

I wanted to load some more press day photos here, but having been out all day, I've been way too exhausted to proceed with editing the images. It's been taken in the area where I lived shortly during summer - it was such a beautiful place, though a bit too far away from life and friends. There were outfit shots of this, but they didn't come out good, even though the lighting and the location was incredible.

Hi again all lovelies!

I was going to wait a day or two with this post, but I simply couldn't wait. The reason to this is that I'm so in love with my sweater and my new earrings (they came in a couple of days ago), and I thought the blog would benefit with an outfit post that wasn't taken when the sun had gone down. Natural lighting is truly a blogger's best friend! The earrings are so much fun, and this outfit would be more boring than fashionable without them - therefore a rather good buy I'd say. Hi lovelies!

Here's the outfit I wore at Looklab's one year birthday party at Simons in Nyhavn. It was a great evening. I decided to try the spotted trend - on my legs! I've never been in to dots before, but Stella and Marc can't be argued with (seriously - they're amazing). Therefore it was a trend I at least had to try out! I'm doing a fashion and design course atm, and here I've met lovely Rosa La Kris, who always looks stylish and inspiring. The silver cardigan on the first photo is from H&M - I literally gawped when she told me - it looks so avant-garde! The jacket she's wearing below was made especially by Kobra. Today I've spent some time together with Rosa in her atelier in the centre of Copenhagen. It was truly a creative spot in the middle of a beautiful city and I had such a lovely time drawing and discussing design!

På designkurset jeg i øjeblikket er i gang med, har jeg mødt skønne Rosa La Kris, som altid dukker op i fantastisk tøj. Billederne her er fra i dag, hvor hun på det øverste har en H&M (!) sølv cardigan på - jeg måtte bogstaveligt talt måbe, da hun sagde det, for den ser bare så avantgarde ud! Helt fantastisk :) Jeg besøgte hende i dag i hendes super fine atelier i midten af byen, hvor vi tegnede og diskuterede design.

I know this outfit is a little bold. Oh well, let's make that very bold. This was the outfit I was going to enter in the styling competition I talked about here, and I thought I better push all the buttons (sometimes that's just more fun). :-) It never made the competition, so it'll just have to shine or well fluff a little on the blog, which is just as good in my opinion! The shoes I just bought this week, and they are so comfortable to walk in and I needed a pair of black heels. I hope you're enjoying this fine sunday! :-)

Jeg ved godt, at dette er et noget vovet outfit. For ikke at sige meget vovet. Det er heller ikke et antræk, jeg sådan lige ville smide på, men det var mit bud til den stylingkonkurrence, jeg snakkede om her. Det er ret vildt, men jeg havde lyst til at trykke på alle knapperne (nogle gange er det bare lidt sjovere, og hvad er mode, hvis ikke man må lege lidt med det). Håber I nyder søndagen!! :)

Hi lovelies!

Thanks for all the lovely comments on the last post! I'm always excited to hear what you think! :) As you can see I'm loving my new hat!! I'm so, so happy for it. It's one of those things, where you know, that it wasn't just a buy - it was a fantastic buy, that'll make you happy for a long time.

I spent the day with lovely Cecilie and we did a little shoot for the blog (more about this will come). Actually the photos were for a competition called Styled by you, held by field's (a danish shopping center). The prize was being able to style a page in Danish Elle. I innerly wanted to be one of those lucky four, to style a page in Elle, so I planned and planned which special outfit to bring in to the competition. Just finished editing and so on here at 18:20 - and the competition was closed (at 6 'o' clock - I was 20 minutes too late). WHYYYY oh WHY? Let me just say, that it said nowhere that it ended at 6 o clock, I had to call them to discover.. Well, I had a little cry (I'm sorry for being a wimp about this, but I really wanted this). While I wept a couple of tears of my face, I said to my dad:

Me: Oh well, it's not like it's life changing.

Dad: What do you mean? Keep crying! (this was said ironically)

We had a good laugh (Australian humor, perhaps) and I am now preparing for Looklab's 1 year birthday party. It'll all be alright! :-)

The weather has been so beautiful today. A sudden rush of happiness went in to me in the waiting room at the dentist's office, when I saw this hat in one of the magazines. I rushed down to Gina Tricot and walked out with this fantastic green hat. It will surely be my close friend throughout this Autumn (and many to come)... Hope you had a fantastic day!

Vejret har været ovenud skønt i dag, hvis man ser bort fra de enkelte regnbyger, der stille passerede Københavns gader. Synes nu blot, det gav et rigtigt fint skær :) Håber I havde en skøn dag!

Old trend Late Bloomer

The trends with wet-looking hair and big earrings have been out for quite a while, but both demand attention when worn. However, when I passed Beadhouse today in Copenhagen, I couldn't help but buy these earrings, which have the right amount of reference to the Marni A/W 11 collection. Unfortunately I put them in my pocket on my way home, causing me to drop one while biking - it broke completely! From the bright side, I'll have something to do tonight - supergluing that baby together. I hope you get to do something a bit more exciting ;)

Jeg tog et smut forbi Beadhouse i dag, hvor jeg fandt disse fine øreringe, der har præcis den rigtige mængde reference til Marnis A/W 11 kollektion. Ja tak! Desværre gik en på tragisk vis i stykker, da den valgte at tage springet ud af min lomme. Af cyklen måtte jeg for at samle alle de små stykker. Planen for i aften er nu lagt fast - superlim og forstørrelsesglas. Håber I får lavet noget lidt sjovere ;)

So, the weather means business - it's crazy cold! Not so cold that it couldn't get colder (such a depressing thought, but we won't let that get us down!), but definitely cold enough to make my toes crumble. I've just moved away from the place where these photos were taken last week. Today I'm getting an internet-guy over to set up the internet, so I won't have to keep logging on to other people's computers, spamming them with my photos and documents. Fingers crossed! :) I've started working as an intern with the MaxMara group, and I couldn't keep my fingers away from the Penny Black bracelet above - I really love it!!

Nu mener vejret det vidst alvorligt - vanter, støvler og uldne sweatre er for alvor blevet nødvendige. Det værste ved det hele er, at det herfra jo kun bliver koldere. Tilsæt lidt julestemning og så skal tingene nok gå i sidste ende - og så har jeg jo fødselsdag i næste måned, hvilket bestemt ikke skader på situationen! Er helt skør med mit nye armbånd fra Penny Black - synes det er så fint!

Wondering what fancy shoes should adorn your pretty feet throughout this winter's parties? Last week I was invited to see Bianco's release of their party collection, filled with glitter, sparkle and of course this season's most beloved trend: snakeskin. I got myself a pair of lovely stilletoes - pictures will come! Sorry, that the blog has been hibernating a little this week - my internet and I have not been getting along. This post, for a matter of fact, wasn't possible if my dad hadn't generously lend me his computer for a short period of time - on goes all the data and before we know it - fancy posts! Wearing: Vintage shirt, H&M trousers, Zara heels

Okay, I'm doing this new thing. And I'm not sure how comfortable I am with it, honestly speaking. It's called: "You put that liquid eye-liner away, young girl, RIGHT NOW". My mantra is: "Stay strong! You can do this". But really, I can't. I've been wearing eyeliner (every time I put on make-up) for like 6 years now, and it is a very sweet and loving relationship. Without it, I feel that my face just looks to bare. And I've always been a sucker for that classy Audrey Hepburn look, no doubt about it! But for now, as long as my blush and brows don't abandon me, I'll be trying to go sans eyeliner (I'm not saying I'm quitting eyeliner - I'll just try something else for a change). Okay, so that was a long text about my relationship with eyeliner - Oh well, it had to happen sometime. Hope you are happy and well!

Jeg prøver noget nyt for tiden, som jeg faktisk ikke er helt sikker på, hvordan jeg har det med. Overskriften hedder: "Sans eyeliner" og mantraet: "Forbliv stærk! Du kan godt!". Men det kan jeg ikke. Mit ansigt transformeres på uhyggelig vis til et helt bart og anonymt ansigt, synes jeg. Det forekommer mig rigtig mærkeligt, at forbandelsen kun er over mig, og at alle andre ser fantastiske ud kun med mascara! Men så længe brynene bliver, hvor de er, og rougen ikke forlader mig, synes jeg det går udemærket :) Det blev et lidt langt indlæg om mit forhold til flydende eyeliner, men det måtte jo komme før eller siden. Håber I har det godt!

On my Eyes

You might remember me trying out a Wet'n'Wild eyeshadow a while back. Polhem kindly sent me one of the same kind but in brown and neutral colours. The first photo is a photo from back then - very dramatic, party like and the two bottom ones is the brown one. I'm going to say it again: I'm a derb when it comes to varying make-up looks - I like it simple. Eyeliner, mascara, a little rouge and some lipbalm and I'm ready! That's what I wear on my face, no matter the occaision. But these eyeshadows sure make it tempting to go and try a new look, making it so easy to apply (the box and the eyshadow says where the specific eyeshadows should go). And if you, like me, don't want to spend a lot of money on makeup you don't wear every day, this is a great option. :)

Kan I huske, at jeg for noget tid siden prøvede nogle Wet'n'Wild øjenskygger? Indlægget kan findes her. De var så søde at sende mig en af samme slags, blot i brune og mere neutrale farver. Det øverste billede er fra den første øjenskygge de sendte, og de to sidste med den brune øjenskygge. Synes det er super fint, når man er lidt fumlet over sine make-up vaner, at der bare står, hvor make-uppen skal lægges! :)

Just Guessing

I got these wide-legged pants in H&M last week, put I'm strongly considering taking them back. Eventhough I love the style and the colour of them, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't get to use them as much as I would like. They acquire heels and a neutral coloured shirt to really look good. And quite frankly; I spend to much money in cafés to buy them. I hope you had a wonderful day! Mine was spent at home. :)

Købte disse vidde bukser i H&M sidste uge, og jeg er ret sikker på, at jeg vil bytte dem. Jeg elsker den koralrøde farve og stilen, men jeg tror simpelthen ikke, jeg ville få dem brugt nok. Håber I har afte en dejlig dag! Jeg har slappet af hele dagen herhjemme :)

Got this shirt a couple of weeks ago at a fleamarket I attended to with some of my lovely blogger friends. With a little pursuasion I got it for only 15 kr (approximately 3 dollars). I'll get a better shot of it sooner or later but here's a little preview :) I'm crazy about all the letters.

Monday I went to visit MUUSE in Copenhagen, which is a newly started fashion company in Denmark, who take newly educated designers from the best design schools around the world and help them produce their clothes and distribute their creations to all of us fashion lovers. When Christianna wrote to me about their concept and projects I was completely thrilled - it's such a good concept! I mean, design students have so much to bring to the table - a completely new way of perceiving fashion in a very unaffected, artistic way. Why shouldn't it be available to buy? They invited me in to see a photo shoot they were doing of Royal Academy of Antwerp graduate Nathalie Fordeyn's creations, and it was really interesting! Her clothes has a strike of surrealism and knows no bounderies when it comes to silhouettes - all in all a very inspiring day.

Wearing: Sweater was a gift, skirt from H&M, shoes from Graceland

Sorry for posting about this skirt again so soon, but it feels rather brilliant to wear it. And with a sweater, please. It's got this big bow in the waist, which is a bit to "bow-right-in-your-face"-thing. Love bows, but with modesty. The sweater was given to me by my wonderful grandmother. She was getting rid of it, but luckily for this sweater, I was there to adopt it straight away ;) Sorry for being a little slow on posting - the internet connection has gone down again, where I live which means I now rely on the favors of others (again). I hope you're having a wonderful time :) The weather in Denmark has been great, which is seldom for us in October !

Fall Garden Outfit

Hiya lovelies,
Here's the outfit I was wearing in my mini-editorial :) The cape was a fabulous find at a charity shop, the hat is by Monki, shorts, shirt and laced t-shirt is vintage, socks H&M and Head over Heels shoes. It's truly so lovely weather in Denmark at the moment. It's impossible not to be over-smiling all the time! Have a lovely weekend!

How amazing is it, that we've passed 700 readers through google?!! I'm so, so excited!! I feel like celebrating, but I have no idea how. I had pancakes for dinner, and for now that will do. :) An outfit from the other day, when I went out with the girls to a flea market in town. I've had this metallic skirt for ages, but not quite known how to style it. This sweater completed it for me. I hope you are happy and well!

First of all I barely ever express how grateful I am to have you following! I'm deeply honored that you share the interest in my blog and some of you take the time to comment - it means the world to me! This photo stream has been a project of mine for a while now. The photos were taken in the beginning of September, where the weather was surprisingly wonderful (to us Danes' luck it has repeated it's success). I felt very inspired by romantic fashion bloggers such as Miss Annie and cocorosa and wanted to try out myself. I don't know if I at all succeeded, but it sure was fun!

A Magical Event

This Thursday I and Stine went to an event celebrating Magic Mountain's first collection hosted by U.S. Import and I Do Art. The collection consists of beautiful crystal jewelry and women's clothes made of natural fabrics such as wool and silk. The silk just felt amazing! The designers behind these magical new age inspired pieces are Sanne Frank and Anne Elman Clausen, and Sanne Frank created the fantastic print you see on the silk coats above and the silk piece underneath. It's a limited edition and you can check where to get it here.

I torsdags tog Stine og jeg til et event holdt af U.S. Import og I Do Art, hvor vi fejrede Magic Mountains første kollektion. Kollektionen består af tøj og flotte krystalsmykker. Det, at tøjet var lavet af naturlige materialer såsom uld og silke, gik rent hjem hos mig, og der er ingen tvivl om, at de krystalsmykker godt måtte bo hos mig. :) Se artiklen jeg skrev for Modebevægelsen her og se Magic Mountains forhandlerliste her (det er limited edition, så man skal være vågen, hvis man vil have fat i disse flotte pieces)!

Yesterday Stine and I went into our party shoes and headed off to a party hosted by David Andersen at Simons. Really great location and the fact that we were served free sushi absolutely didn't hurt. We had great fun even though I mostly prefer a movie and hot chocolate over a party (I know I sound so boring, but it's the bare naked truth) - but yesterday was fun! :)

I går tog Stine og jeg afsted til David Andersen fest holdt på Simons ved Nyhavn. Det er et skønt sted, og at der ovenikøbet blev serveret gratis sushi, gjorde det kun endnu bedre! Helt ærligt er jeg ikke den store party-gænger - ikke fordi jeg ikke er festlig, men der er nu ikke noget der slår hyggesokker, en god film og en varm kakao. Men i går var sjovt! :)

Today has been.. well.. eventful! Firstly I went to the e.l.f. cosmetics event hosted by sweet Emilie Delance where Katarina was the model (photos coming up). Afterwards I went to celebrate the launch of Magic Mountain's AW 11 collection together with Stine (more photos coming up). :) All in all a really good day :) Can't wait till tomorrow where Stine and I will hit a party hosted by David Andersen. We are going to suit up!

I dag har jeg været til to events (billeder følger). Første event var hos e.l.f. cosmetics, hvor søde Emilie Delance var vært og Katarina model. Senere tog jeg til fejringen af Magic Mountain kollektionen sammen med Stine og nåede et smut forbi søen v. Frederiksberg. En super hyggelig dag! Glæder mig til i morgen, hvor Stine og jeg skal til fest hos David Andersen. Suit up! :)

Yin's creepers from H&M. I desperately want these shoes!

Here are some of the photos I've been taking of my friends lately. Been hanging with Stine, Katarina and Yin lately - going to flea markets and sipping coffee at cafés. It's as always lovely to hang out with them, and be completely nerdy about blogging, photography and fashion.

The last photo is of my very stylish friend, Isidora, who I by a coincidence met at the subway. I haven't seen her for ages, since we know each other from when I lived back in Jutland. She's moved to the city to study which means we'll see more of each other - so lovely :) Today I'll be rushing off for an e.l.f. event and afterwards to the celebration of the Magic Mountain collection launch! Pictures will follow.

Lidt billeder jeg har taget af vennerne på det seneste. Det er skønt at ses med pigerne (Yin, Katarina og Stine), som elsker at blogge, tage billeder og snakke om mode lige så meget som jeg.
